About our Ely service
Ely is a small cathedral city in the Fens on the River Great Ouse, with an agricultural hinterland and growing numbers of Cambridge commuters. We offer soft washing in every part of Ely, from Witchford and Chettisham through to Soham.
We handle soft washing for homeowners, landlords, managing agents and commercial property owners in Ely regularly. The work is done to a high standard, priced clearly and finished on time.
Our Ely jobs cover Georgian and Victorian townhouses, period cottages and modern estates. Each one is a little different, so we price from the details you send.
In Ely we regularly clean north-facing walls and roofs under trees, where algae and black mould build up fastest.
Landlords and managing agents in Ely often have exteriors soft washed before re-letting or selling, because a clean frontage makes a big difference to first impressions.

How do I get a quote in Ely?
Simply fill in the form on this page with your Ely postcode, a short description of what you need and when you need it. Photos help but are optional.
What chemicals are used in soft washing?
Most soft wash solutions are based on sodium hypochlorite, the active ingredient in bleach, diluted to a strength that suits the surface, with a surfactant to help it cling. Some jobs use quaternary ammonium biocides instead, which work more slowly over days or weeks and are often used on roofs and delicate stone. The solution is matched to the surface and the type of staining.
